|About the Job Global leader in electronic embedded solutions seeks a talented technical supportSales Engineer to cover all sales activities and technical inquires in the US market This position is offered by an international company established in 1979 and settled in the electronic embedded industry Our diversified business and constant growth has developed a wellestablished international customer base that opens new positions The successful candidate will be a selfmotivated FAE capable of working independently and should possess a strong background in enterprise electronic solutions After initial training will be expected to technically followup on existing accounts providing qualified support The Field Sales Engineer Field Application Engineer will be responsible to maintain impeccable records of requirements and work with our internal RD and operation teams to develop and deploy customized solutions that meet the needs and timelines of customers Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and old customers for cultivating relationships with distributers developing and handling sales leads processing leads and closing business Base salary based on the candidates experience plus potential commissions based on selling profit only after the first year of employment Availability to travel internationally 3 to 4 times per year with no restrictions attend various tradeshows and conferences as needed Essential Responsibilities Develop maintain and assist customer and possible sales relationships in person via telephone calls and emails Learn Customer requirements and devise specifications that can be used to develop new products as well as deploy existing products Provide customers quotations and order processing Provide technical and sales support as well as product information andor demonstrations Develop timeliness for project completion deliver them to our internal team as well as the Customer Maintain project schedules and report regularly on progress Communicate regularly with an international team ability to effetely maintain relationship with colleagues abroad and to responsibly work independently Record sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office Represent the company at trade exhibitions events and demonstration Attend team meeting Gain a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements with the aim to meet or exceed targets Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our hardware and software products and their ability to adapt to a fast changing market Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced development environment Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is required Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously is required Ability to travel internationally 34 times per year with no restrictions QualificationsEducation andor Experience Minimum level of Education BS degree ( Electrical Engineering preferred technical degree required) 13 years Embedded customer care support Possess a clear understanding of ARM and x86 architectures Thorough knowledge of the actual embedded solutions is an asset In depth knowledge of computers and software utilities including Word Excel PowerPoint and as well as OS Must have excellent verbal and communications skills and be responsive to customer inquiries Presentation skills Fluency in Italian language is also an asset Essential Physical Requirements Clear and articulate communication verbally and in writing using English Ability to sit for long periods of time Job Location Boston (MA) Position Type FulltimeRegular|
