| CAST is the pioneer and indisputable leader in the emerging Software Analysis and Measurement market space Our enterprise software and services provide CIOs and VPs of Application Development at F1000 organizations actionable visibility into the quality and quantity of application development work performed by outsourced offshore andor in house teams A game changer ldquoCAST has the potential to change or affect a market in a significant wayrdquo by Helen Huntley Research SVP Gartner Group httpwwwreuterscomarticle20110422idUS64660+22Apr2011+MW20110422 With the visibility that CAST provides our customers reduce costs accelerate time to market and deliver better user experiences ndash all pillars of IT success these days ldquoCAST makes the invisible Visiblerdquo 2010 winner of the MOFILM global competition by Lloyd Choi httpswwwyoutubecomwatchvSO_VZJuZj98featurerelated ATT GM American Express Travelers Coke The VA Credit Suisse BNYM and most of the SIs have adopted the CAST software platform to measure and analyze ADM outcomes Referenceability is increasing year after and we have many customers hosting seminars and webinars to help with our marketing efforts CAST is also at the center of a new IT software quality standards organization called CISQ which is about to release its first version of outsourcer governance standards a major plus for CAST We are increasingly well positioned to reach the next level crossing the proverbial chasm We are looking for topcaliber consultative presales consultants motivated by the vision and challenges of introducing a change agent into the Application Development Management function at F1000 companies and systems integrations and being significantly rewarded financially and professionally for doing so Role As a Presales engineer consultant your mission will involve being the technical intermediate between our sales team and the prospects and being instrumental in transitioning a prospect into a successful customer Your key focus as a presales engineer consultant would be to support the sales representatives in progressing sales processes to closure through the various technical stages Participate in meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and contribute to the strategy of each account Match functional needs with the productrsquos technical capabilities Demonstrate our value proposition through a pilots proof of concepts elaboration interpretation presentation Propose an appropriate implementation model Presales consultants are also responsible for the smooth transition of customers to the postsales team once customers licensed CAST products Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) Desired Skills Experience Requirements The preferred candidate will have experience with developing applications and the system development life cycle (SDLC) in a presales architect consulting projectproduct management or similar role Bachelors Degree required (technical major desirable) 12 years of hands on programming and software development experience (developer system analyst technical project management) 5 years minimum overall IT related experience Prior presales customer facing experience a plus Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle concepts and software development iterative and noniterative development models Ability to present and establish value and business proposition to large groups and senior client executives through technical presentations demonstrations proof of concepts Must be customer focused and have the ability to manage and resolve solutions to complex technical issues Excellent oral and written communication skills outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills and ability to interface to senior levels of an organization Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals Ability to travel as needed throughout the US and Canada |
