Sweet home Alabama! Birmingham-based Liberty National Life Insurance will be hiring 1,200 in the state.
The company is looking for both agents and managers and is aiming to hire rather quickly. There will be a job fair held on November 5 in order to screen potential candidates. The average first year salary for an agent is $56,000, the Birmingham branch manager said.
Insurance hiring is increasing this year, and looks to continue for the next few years.
