30 Family-Friendly Financial Firms

By laura lorber

Want a family-friendly place to work? Try looking over the Working Mother 100 Best Companies 2009 list. Thirty financial companies made the magazine's annual roster, including several-time returnees.

The Phoenix Cos. Inc. made its 18th appearance on the list. Deloitte made its 16th. The list has been published for 24 years. It factors in such workplace attributes as compensation, child care, flexibility programs, leave policies and the percentage of women in an employer's work force.
